- Lauren Fernando is running for the election in the Lightwood Ward of the City of Greater Dandenong in the Local Council ballot to be held on Saturday 29th November 2008. The new Lightwood Ward encompasses in part the suburbs Springvale North, Springvale, Springvale South and Noble Park. Lauren was born and raised in City of Greater Dandenong and knows the issues that are important to local people. She would like to see more community engagement and spirit within the Lightwood Ward.
